This should come as no surprise, but we’ve been getting a lot of calls for service and parts lately. The problem? The requests are for knock-off machines!
We’ve posted about this before, but we felt that it was worth talking about again due to the recent rise in requests for service of these machines. There are so many issues in dealing with knock-offs, I’m only going to take the time to go over a couple here.
When you buy a cheap imitation, you have NO service department to back you up. You have no access to spare parts. You’re buying as is and it’s wham-bam – thank you ma’am.
While we would love to help you out with these machines, the fact is that we have no way to service them, no access to spare parts for those machines, and neither does anyone else. So while you may have saved some money up front on buying the machine, you are now stuck in the unenviable position of having to purchase ANOTHER machine.
We recently had a client that purchased his machine on E-Bay roughly 4 months ago. The thing doesn’t work anymore! He had had nothing but issues with the thing for 4 straight months and finally just gave up on it, and in turn ended up buying a Versatile machine through us. Now he’s backed himself up with our service department, a warrantee, and access to any spare parts he will ever need.
Save yourself the trouble and the headache! Stay away from the cheap imitations!!!
