Thin Film Pressing:
All cold pressed juicers use a cake pressure filtration system. One of the most important factors in juice production is cake thickness. More cake thickness = less juice flow = less bang for the buck.
This is where thin film pressing comes into play. By putting less produce in the filtration bag, cake thickness decreases, leading to more juice in less time and a greater ROI.
Wavy Press Boards:
Wavy boards are an upgrade over the standard “plank boards” by supplying a larger surface area. This serves two functions:
• Better Distribution of Force. This helps ensure that the produce is distributed in a single direction in the bag (up or down instead of side to side).
• Bags “tuck in” to the board. This minimizes the amount the bag overhangs on the board. Overhangs trap produce outside the press area, which leads to over-pressure at the seams and bursting bags.

Make lemon juice using Zummo citrus juicers – the juicers that give the best yield and product taste on the market. Mix 3/8 cup lemon juice and 40 ml sugar in 16 ounces water. You can tinker with the flavor by adding a bit more lemon juice or sugar, or a bit less or either or both.
Place a slice of lemon in each cube.
Pour your fresh made juice into tray making sure not to overfill.
Once tray is full, place on shelf in freezer.
After a few hours check if ice is solid.
Rub rim of glass with lemon.
Flip glass over onto plate of sugar to coat the rim.
Slowly pour in Alcohol or juice.
Once solid place in ice box or directly into your drink.
For adults: Pour vodka over lemon juice ice to make a refreshingly sweet drink. The ice melting in your drink will mix with vodka. You could also make different flavor cubes and mix them with juice and alcohol for a less potent drink.
For kids: Use a shaped ice tray like a football or other fun shape and follow the same steps as before but substitute alcohol with a different colored juice. This mini science experiment will keep them entertained as they drink the juice and watch the colors mix together while receiving a healthy amount of vitamin C.

But who could ever dream of manufacturing enough product without employing the entire city to do so on a home juicer like a Norwalk or Zumonat C-40? The other option, of course, is spending $20,000-$30,000 on an industrial cold press like the Freshly Squeezed FS-30 Cold Press or Goodnature X-1.
Thank goodness that as technology evolves, so do opportunities. So now, the tallest of obstacles – cost and space – have both been leaped in a single bound, so to speak.
