Zumex’s Competitors. Part 1 – Citrocasa.

As the world leader in juicing equipment manufacturing, we are never afraid educate our buyers about the competition. Citrocasa. Citrocasa is a copy of Zumex made 5 years ago.
Citrocasa is “copied” in Austria, and made in China by Nantong Zhenghe Gas Co., Ltd.. The quality of the juicer and particularly the squeezing parts are much inferior to Zumex’s. The crucial thing though is that Citrocasa juicers are not UL certified (electrical certification for the US), which could be a big potential problem.
As for the improvements that Citrocasa claims they have made, we already tested them and here are our conclusions:
Mobile knife: is a mess and a nightmare to install, and sooner or later somebody will cut a finger with it.
Cooling system: not long enough to chill the juice properly; difficult to clean, easy to break, and very expensive.
